From the lure of false promises, to the inner turmoil of captivity, and finally the desperate fight for freedom, the series traces the hidden journeys of those ensnared by exploitation. Together, they shed light on resilience in the face of despair and the urgent need to break the silence surrounding trafficking.

Chapter 2: A Tale Within (2/3) 🎬
Oh my. People.
This one took us just one day. ⚡️
Let’s call this a director’s cut, since some shots and voice-overs didn’t make it to the final version, and the structure and color grading shifted slightly along the way.
The types and specifics of Trafficking in Persons are often controversial and easily slip past the public eye.
What shocked us most was realising that some of the most common situations in Southeast Asia could, in fact, be crimes too.
This is not an Employer vs. Employee story.
We wanted to bring forward an uncomfortable truth: there is no absolute truth (ironic, right 🙂). Narratives are shaped by who tells them, and by the circumstances they’re trapped within.
