We wanted the experience to feel as authentic as possible, so we cast people who have lived with eczema or acne problems and other skin conditions: some had it in their teenage years, some from birth, some with minor flare-ups, some with severe ones. We wanted to capture the “ugly” honesty of their skin alongside the full colour of their personalities.
